So Many Things to Do at St. Paul Public Library This March!
Spring is right around the corner, and there’s no shortage of ways to get involved at St. Paul Public Library (SPPL)! Whether you’re diving into this year’s Read Brave book, Akata Witch, or taking part in family-friendly programs at your neighborhood library, March is packed with opportunities to learn, connect, and grow.
Join Read Brave 2025
Read Brave, SPPL’s annual citywide book club, invites teens, families, and community members to read the same young adult book and spark meaningful conversations about issues that matter to Saint Paul. This year’s selection,
Akata Witch by Nnedi Okorafor, is an African futurism novel about a Nigerian-American girl who discovers her magical abilities and claims her power to stop a killer.
Pick up your free copy of Akata Witch at any SPPL location during open hours while supplies last! Book clubs can also sign up for a chance to host Mayor Carter for a discussion. Plus, don’t miss these upcoming Read Brave events:
