Sholom Announces $8 Million Investment in Senior Care Infrastructure

Sholom has announced an $8 million investment aimed at modernizing technology, facilities and support systems across its senior care campuses, including its St. Paul location.

The nonprofit organization said the initiative, funded through a grant from the Sholom Foundation, will support upgrades to electronic health records, communication systems, staffing tools and shared living spaces as part of a long-term sustainability effort called the “Future of Sholom.”

Sholom operates a continuum of care services that include independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, hospice and memory care for older adults across the Twin Cities.

Leaders said the investment is designed to improve resident care and operational efficiency while reinforcing the organization’s focus on inclusive community and long-term stability.

The announcement comes as senior care providers across Minnesota continue adapting to rising healthcare costs, staffing challenges and increased demand for aging services.

Sholom officials said updates will also include refreshed branding and messaging emphasizing belonging and inclusive care across all service lines.
