Seeking presenters for Home Improvement Workshop Day in March 2024
The Macalester-Groveland Community Council and Highland District Council’s Home Improvement Workshop Day returns in 2024 with 45-minute to one-hour workshops. We’re seeking presenters for the March 9, 2024 event! More information and the application is available at macgrove.org/hiwd. Workshop space is limited.
Blood and donation drive on February 2
Join us on Friday, February 2, 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. at the Highland Park Community Center for a blood drive and donation drive. We’ll be collecting non-perishable food items for Francis Basket Food Market. Learn more and get the link to make your appointment to give blood at highlanddistrictcouncil.org.
Family sledding party on Presidents Day
Bundle up for some fun in the snow and join us for the annual Highland Park Family Sledding Party on Monday, February 19, noon – 2 p.m. at the Highland Park Community Center (1978 Ford Parkway)! There will be a bonfire, StoryWalk, hot cocoa, s’mores, sledding and much more. Additional details and updates will be shared on the event Facebook page. In partnership with Saint Paul Parks and Recreation and Saint Paul Public Library.
