Help “Stamp Out Hunger” May 10
The National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) is partnering with local nonprofit Keystone Community Services for the largest one-day food drive in the nation, Stamp Out Hunger, happening this year on Saturday, May 10.
To participate, all community members have to do is leave non-perishable food donations by their mailbox for their letter carrier to collect and deliver to local food shelves.
Donations should be placed by mailboxes before regular mail delivery begins. Letter carriers will collect donations along their regular routes throughout St. Paul and deliver them to Keystone Community Services.
Stamp out Hunger is a nationwide collaboration between NALC, the U.S. Postal Service and local food shelves. As this year’s St. Paul partner, Keystone Community Services will receive the food collected by St. Paul postal carriers. The food will be distributed through the Keystone Community Food Center to support neighbors facing food insecurity.
Food insecurity continues to impact families across our community. In 2024, Minnesota saw nearly 9 million food shelf visits—a record high. As the largest food shelf provider in the East Metro, Keystone is experiencing record demand. Food collected through this drive will help stock the shelves at the Keystone Community Food Center and reach thousands of neighbors.
