Ella Judt at Friedli Gallery
Stop by the Friedli Gallery, 943 West 7th St., through May to see the works of upcoming visual artist Ella Judt. At 17, Judt has already been building her portfolio for the last four years. Though she primarily uses acrylic paint, Judt has been expanding her knowledge and use of colored pencils and oil pastels. She finds inspiration in the world around her, drawing from observation and photographing moments to recreate. Judt’s most recent portfolio expands on her gestural, abstract work and captures connections to nature and internal reflection. An opening reception will be held May 6 from 6-9 p.m.
