Cultural and Neighborhood STAR application now open

The grant application for the City of St. Paul’s 2024 Cultural Star and  Neighborhood STAR program is now open. Online applications for both programs are due Wednesday, May 15 at 4 p.m.

Cultural STAR provides grants and loans to St. Paul cultural projects and organizations. Most projects are located in the St. Paul Cultural District. Cultural STAR grows St. Paul’s economy by strengthening the arts and cultural sector and supporting Downtown as a vital cultural center.

The Neighborhood STAR program funds capital projects in St. Paul neighborhoods. To be eligible for a STAR grant, an applicant must:

• Be located in or do business in St. Paul
• Make a capital improvement with an expected life of 7+ years
• Have a project that contributes to the prosperity, cultural diversity, and vitality of St. Paul neighborhoods
