St. Paul named #3 park system in the country
The Trust for Public Land has named St. Paul the third best park system in the country.
In their report, the Trust for Public Land cited St. Paul’s park access and their investment in the system as their top two categories, rating 98 and 96 points out of 100, respectively.
They also scored the City’s amenities and park-system equity well above average.
“Through continuous innovation and community engagement, we’re committed to ensuring that our parks remain vibrant, inclusive spaces where all who visit them can find joy, connection, and belonging,” St. Paul Parks and Recreation said in a statement.
This marks the 10th year St. Paul has been named a top-three system in the annual rankings. It follows only Washington D.C. at number one and our sister city Minneapolis at number two.
