Trash Talk: Garbage & Recycling in St. Paul

Hosted by the League of Women Voters of St. Paul, this Earth Day–themed discussion explores what happens to St. Paul’s waste after it leaves the curb. Experts from Ramsey/Washington Recycling & Energy and Eureka! Recycling will break down how the region diverts more than 80% of its waste from landfills and explain the systems behind recycling and waste management. The program is part of the League’s “Learn with the League” series, which promotes informed civic engagement. Attendees will gain insight into sustainability practices, regional infrastructure and how individual actions contribute to broader environmental outcomes. The webinar may also be rebroadcast locally and online following the event.
