My Priorities for 2025

Council Perspectives, St. Paul City Council, Ward 3

Hello Neighbors,

As our City welcomes Spring we’re welcoming some changes in our neighborhood.

For those seeking to get out and serve our community with the turn of the season please join one of our City Wide Clean-up events this year. After last year’s hugely successful turn out we’ll be hosting many more smaller events dispersed across the city to extend our efforts.

This year our Ward 3 office will be focused on making progress at Highland Bridge, working to reigniting the Riverview project with a focus on BRT, expanding our city’s tax base, ensuring reliable city services, amending our Rent Stabilization Ordinance, reinstating Tenant Protections, providing comprehensive public safety, and making investments in our infrastructure that both prepare us for Climate Change and seek to reduce its effects.

Elsewhere in the Ward, we have construction coming to Grand Avenue; both a City street reconstruction and Macalester College’s dormitory project will be making progress this summer and our Grand Avenue businesses need you to make an intentional effort to visit them during construction. While our new Commercial Corridors Fund will be helping this year, I still expect to see my neighbors at the Italian Pie Shoppe.

On all of these priorities, on all of these projects, the details matter and your input is critical in helping our office find the right solution for St. Paul.

As always our office can be reached at [email protected]

Thank you for being a good neighbor,

Saura Jost Ward 3 Councilmember
