Highland District Council Extends Deadline for Commercial Corridor Grants
The Highland District Council is looking for businesses and organizations interested in corridor beautification, public art, planning, marketing, events or revitalizing underused properties to apply for their Commercial Corridor grant program.
The Highland District Council is administering two $74,000 pools of grant funding, one for the upper Highland area, including Highland Village, and the West 7th neighborhood.
Projects must take place in the following geographic area:
- Snelling Avenue from Randolph Avenue to Ford Parkway
- Ford Parkway from Snelling to Cretin Avenue
- Cleveland Avenue from Ford to Bayard Avenue
- West Seventh from Homer to Wheeler streets
Applications must be received by 5 p.m. on Monday, September 30 to be considered.
Originally announced with a June 27 deadline, the HDC extended the deadline to accommodate as many proposals as possible.
