St. Paul Oktoberfest

The Germanic-American Institute’s grounds transform into a Munich-inspired celebration for two days during St. Paul Oktoberfest. Visitors can enjoy German beer and wine, bratwurst, giant pretzels and other festival food while listening and dancing to live music from polka bands, folk performers and other entertainers. The festival also includes artisan vendors, traditional performances, a beer garden and family-friendly activities. Admission is free. Guests age 21 and older who want to purchase beer or wine must show valid photo identification and purchase a $10 wristband. Pets are not permitted, although service animals are welcome. Oktoberfest is also the Germanic-American Institute’s signature annual fundraiser.
