Spring Busking on Grand Avenue

Live music returns to Grand Avenue this spring with a neighborhood busking event featuring musicians from Music on Grand performing outdoors along the business corridor. Shoppers and diners can enjoy guitar, vocal and acoustic performances while exploring local restaurants, boutiques and cafes. Busking, the practice of performing music in public spaces for voluntary donations, brings an informal and festive atmosphere to the avenue while supporting local artists and businesses. The event is part of a larger effort to activate Saint Paul’s commercial corridors through arts programming and community events. Organizers say the performances are intended to encourage residents to stroll the neighborhood, support small businesses and celebrate the arrival of summer with live local music in an accessible outdoor setting.
