Salsa Baroque

The Bach Society of Minnesota opens its 95th season with a high-energy journey through Baroque Spain and Latin America. ‘Salsa Baroque’ explores the meeting of European musical traditions with rhythms shaped by African and Indigenous cultures and includes the American premiere of a newly reconstructed recorder concerto by Antonio Soler. The performance is free, with advance registration and donations recommended.
