Friedli Gallery is highlighting Indigenous Artists through a series of cultural events throughout the next month.
Ongoing: “We Are Still Here,” moves into its fourth year at Friedli Gallery. Featuring native artists from across Turtle Island, “We Are Still Here” brings to the fore the life, histories and politics of what it means to be Indigenous in the 21st Century. This show continues on through the end of December 2023.
December 2, 3 p.m. an afternoon with renowned Indigenous Artist Sam Zimmerman. Zimmerman will share insights into their artistic journey, discussing the influence, techniques and inspirations that have shaped their unique style.
