Bach Society of Minnesota and Rochester’s Choral Arts Ensemble will collaborate on two performances of “A Symphony of Joy” March 9 in Rochester and March 10 in Saint Paul. This marks the first time the two musical organizations have collaborated since 2019 when they presented Bach’s St. John Passion. “A Symphony of Joy” will feature the joyous music of J.S. Bach and his family – his son C.P.E. Bach, his uncle Johann Ludwig Bach, and his father-in-law Johann Christoph Bach – and their friends G.P. Telemann (godfather of C.P.E. Bach) and Johannes Brahms.
