After Antarctica Film Screening

The Minnesota Historical Society and The Steger Center will present screenings of the documentary “After Antarctica,” followed by question-and-answer sessions with polar explorer Will Steger. Directed by Tasha Van Zandt, the film examines climate change through the lens of Steger’s groundbreaking polar expeditions and decades of firsthand observations in the Arctic and Antarctic regions. Organizers say the documentary highlights both the historic achievements of Steger’s expeditions and the dramatic environmental changes occurring in polar regions today. The screenings are part of a larger series of MNHS programs exploring exploration, climate science and environmental stewardship. More information: mnhs.org/events
