Citywide Voter Education Night

Citywide Voter Education Night at St. Paul Public Library

St. Paul residents are invited to Voter Education Day on Thursday, September 17 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at designated St. Paul Public Library locations. Celebrate Constitution Day with this citywide event designed to make the voting process more approachable, understandable, and welcoming. This event is presented by the St. Paul City Council, St. Paul Public Library, League of Women Voters of St. Paul, and the Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State.

The program features hands-on mock polling stations where participants can walk through the full voting experience—checking in, marking a sample ballot, and casting it—in a low-pressure, judgment-free environment. Get help finding trustworthy, nonpartisan election information and where to go for reliable details about candidates and issues. Attendees will also be able to register to vote and request an absentee ballot. The goal is to help residents feel confident and prepared long before they arrive at a polling place on Election Day.
