Hundreds of people joined in the national “No Kings” protest at Lexington and West 7th on October 18 to protest growing authoritarianism under the current presidential administration. The event at Lexington Landing was one of several throughout the Twin Cities that day, the largest of which saw estimates as high as 100,000 in downtown Minneapolis. An estimated 7 million people participated in rallies in all 50 states as part of the No Kings movement protesting Donald Trump and his policies.
