Ramsey County is offering temporary property tax relief and expanded mental health support for residents affected by Operation Metro Surge, a large-scale federal immigration enforcement effort.
Eligible property owners can delay first-half 2026 tax payments by up to two months without penalties, providing short-term financial relief.
County officials say the program responds to economic disruptions caused by the operation, which has affected businesses, employment and community stability.
The county is also allocating $75,000 to expand children’s mental health services and has launched outreach efforts to connect residents with food, emergency assistance and other resources.
Leaders say the impacts of the operation continue to be felt across St. Paul, particularly among vulnerable populations.More information: ramseycounty.us.
