Today I read a good article in the Pioneer Press regarding the old Woolworth’s building. As a result, I would like to be on Council representative Noecker’s holiday greeting list. Once I quit voting regularly due to lower confidence in the reporting of our representatives and I also lost reliable email provider solutions I quit contacting via her assistant’s email address. My attendance at her regular coffees with constituents was never successful due to the overall bland presentation of the city of Saint Paul website that discourages sticky and return traffic, but also by the antiquated tribal advertisements of her coffee socials.
This fall, my attempt to become engaged with the weekly city council meetings (likely motivated by a missed Mayor Carter Library Budget speech and rumors that local reporting would improve to the point that new hires might be considered) was stymied by locked doors at both sides of the 1926 edifice meeting location (as well as by a sabotage of my bike’s tire while Central Librarians deflected my questions regarding .)
After donating to County Commissioner Ortegas Puerto Rico hurricane recovery efforts I began receiving his annual holiday cards and fundraising gatherings at Mancini’s. To summarize: I could better understand Rebecca’s annual evolution of Ward 2 leadership if I could get on the annual USPS greeting list.
