Your eyes do not deceive—this beer is on FIRE! And we’ll flame yours too at our 6th Annual Bierstacheln (beer-poking), Saturday March 22, from 1-5pm on Waldmann’s outdoor biergarten. Beer-poking goes back centuries in German folklore—and it’s a ton of fun, especially when you use an authentic blacksmith forge like ours that fires our pokers to near welding temps. This year we’re poking a special event-released Bockbier, a rich tawny-lager that’s perfect for carmelizing. Plus, to commemorate your poke, you can take home a Waldmann glass tankard for only $10. Families, kids and kids-at-heart are all welcome (we’ve been known to poke a Coke too). The fun is outside, so dress for the weather! More info at waldmannbrewery.com.
