Midwest Black Book Fair

The Midwest Black Book Fair brings readers, writers, educators, publishers, artists and community organizations together for a family-friendly celebration of Black literature and culture. Attendees can browse Black-owned bookstores and publishers, meet authors, attend readings and signings, join writing and publishing workshops, enter raffles and support Black-owned food businesses. The fair is held during Black August and centers stories of resistance, history and Black futurity.
