Directed by former History Theatre Artistic Director\, Ron Peluso tickets for this limited run of the blockbuster musical are on sale! \nOn June 27\, 1977\, heiress Elisabeth Congdon was found dead in her bedroom in the Glensheen mansion\, smothered with a silk pillow. Outside her room\, the night nurse\, Velma Pietila had been violently beaten to death with a candlestick by an intruder. Roger Caldwell was arrested for the murder and sentenced to prison. Caldwell was husband to Marjorie Caldwell\, one of Elisabeth’s adopted daughters. Harriet Island Park. $150-$2300 \nAfter a successful inaugural year in 2024\, the Minnesota Yacht Club music festival announced that it would be returning to Harriet Island this summer on July 18-20. \nThis year’s festival is scheduled for three days\, up from last year’s two-day event. Day one will be headlined by Hozier and the Alabama Shakes with bands like Train\, Sheryl Crow and Father John Misty rounding out the day. Day two features Fall Out Boy and Weezer as headliners with Remi Wolf\, O.A.R. and Motion City Soundtrack also on the bill. Day three will be headlined by Green Day\, with Sublime\, 311 Garbage and Minnesota’s Semisonic some of the notable acts supporting them. \nTickets range from $150 for a single day to $2300 for platinum three-day access.
