The production blends traditional Irish tunes and lumbercamp songs to tell the larger-than-life story of Irish immigrant lumberjack Michael Cassius Dean. Featuring storytellers Jeremiah Gamble and Nathan Cousins with live musicians\, the show explores the immigrant roots of Minnesota’s northwoods culture. \n\n\n\nPerformances run over three weekends\, including a Pay-As-You’re-Able show May 4. Opening weekend tickets are discounted to $20. The toe-tapping production is designed for audiences of all ages interested in regional history and folk music traditions.
