Many original cast members\, led by Jen Maren\, Dane Stauffer\, and Wendy Lehr will reprise their roles created by playwright Jeffrey Hatcher and composer Chan Poling. Directed by former History Theatre Artistic Director\, Ron Peluso tickets for this limited run of the blockbuster musical are on sale! \nOn June 27\, 1977\, heiress Elisabeth Congdon was found dead in her bedroom in the Glensheen mansion\, smothered with a silk pillow. Outside her room\, the night nurse\, Velma Pietila had been violently beaten to death with a candlestick by an intruder. Roger Caldwell was arrested for the murder and sentenced to prison. Caldwell was husband to Marjorie Caldwell\, one of Elisabeth’s adopted daughters. Bring along a blanket or a lawn chair and enjoy a starlit night of fun with friends and family! Movies in the Parks provides a wide range of outdoor films at parks and recreation centers around St. Paul. Movies in the Parks events are free and open to the public. Movies are weather dependent and subject to change without notice. All children under 10 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Rated R/NR movies are 18+ events. Movies in the Parks are pet friendly events (unless otherwise noted)\, but pets must be kept on a leash no longer than 6ft at all times. Unless otherwise noted\, all movies will be closed captioned in English. Movies typically begin at dusk\, but some may start earlier or later.
