DESCRIPTION:November 4\, 2023–May 24\, 2024. Minnesota Museum of American Art \nHazel Belvo is a significant American artist\, art educator and feminist leader. This series of exquisite artworks\, representing couples in positions of intimacy\, tenderness\, and reciprocity\, began in 1967 as a counter to the dry and shame-inducing sex education her son was receiving in school and continued until 1982. The Love Drawings are about so much more than intimacy and pleasure\, although these are important themes. Serving from 4:30 to 7:30 pm  every Friday from February 16 through and including Good Friday on March 29. Meal includes choice of fried or baked Wild Caught Alaskan Pollock\, baked potato\, vegetable\, coleslaw\, roll and dessert. Coffee\, milk\, and water included. Adults $15\, Children 5-12 $7\, under 5 free. Non-fish options are spaghetti or grilled cheese meals. Adults $13. Children 5-12 $6\, under 5 free. Beer\, wine and pop available for purchase at dine-in. Cash\, check or card. Dine-in via Social Hall entrance\, door 5\, at the back of the church. DESCRIPTION:15th Minnesota Cuban Film Festival \nFeb. 28-April 4. MSP Film Society at The Main Theatre. \nMinnesota Cuban Film Festival (MCCF) is very proud to announce its 15th year of bringing some of the best films produced in Cuba to Minnesota. MCFF strives to feature films that address the achievements and challenges of the Cuban people. The festival highlights diverse and challenging films of social change\, human struggle and the boldness of the human spirit. The goal is to offer Minnesotans a chance to learn about and appreciate Cuban films and culture. It serves as a reminder of the onerous burden that the blockade inflicts on the Cuban people\, which must end with the re-establishment of respectful diplomatic relations. \nThe opening night of the festival is Wednesday\, 2/28. Thereafter the festival will be on Thursdays through 4/4. This year’s film lineup offers a mix of fiction and documentary features. The 15th.
